BUSINESS UNIT LEADER FOR CORPORATE ESTATES AND FACILITIES
Ref: LDMA045
Salary: Up to £52,924 pa plus market enhancement of £5k pa plus car allowance up to £1239 pa

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable manager from a property and estates background to run our team.

You will be responsible for leading and developing your team, with the prime objective of ensuring the planning and delivery of estates and facilities work to time and budget. Strong people management is essential - both to drive their performance and the outcomes for the community; and to bring commercial acumen to our built estate.

You will possess an appropriate professional qualification, and be able to demonstrate proven experience of successfully operating within a similar role or show the potential to do so. Naturally, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to influence, inspire and motivate others at all levels.

In return we can offer you a great career where there is never a dull day, in an organisation that is investing in the community both commercially (we own and run a shopping centre and own many commercial and industrial units) and more altruistically in our large range of community buildings and pavilions.

If this opportunity sounds attractive we’d love to hear from you. If you would like any further information, or have any questions, you should contact Ellen Fisher, PA to the Council’s Management Team on 01444 477202 or Ellen.Fisher@midsussex.gov.uk

Ellen will make an appointment for you to speak to Peter Stuart, Head of Corporate Resources, for an informal chat and to get things started.
